For the last few weeks my family and I have been playing Bubble Talk, which has proved to be an absolute hoot! Bubble Talk is played with a random selection of 150 hilarious pictures and 300 wacky captions, with the aim of the game being to match the picture in play with the funniest caption from your hand of caption cards. The winner of that round is the player whose caption the judge deems the most 'side-splitting', the winner then gets to keep that picture, and the first person to seven pictures is the overall winner. This game can be played with all members of the family and can be a quick time filler or make for an entire evening of entertainment. Last Friday night I took Bubble Talk with me to the local Youth Group where I volunteer, many of the kids were away with colds so I sat the kids (ages 10 to 15) down for (what I thought would be) a quick game of Bubble Talk, the kids played through just about every picture in the pack! They absolutely loved it. The great thing about Bubble Talk is that the rules can be tailored to suit any need, we played it with each player (except the judge) always having five caption cards and the kids could put dibs on being judge for the next round, and on the odd occasion where the judge couldn't pick their favorite caption the entire group could vote between 1 or 2 of the judge's favorites. Bubble Talk is easy to learn and makes for a fantastic time for the entire family. I highly recommend adding Bubble Talk to your gift list this holiday season for any kids who enjoy a good laugh.
